Depart Kolkata at 7:30 AM in comfortable AC transport. Arrive Godkhali by 11:30 AM, step onto our deluxe safari vessel. Journey past Gosaba heritage sites including Sir Daniel Hamilton's bungalow and the historic Beacon bungalow. Cruise along river Bidya to check into your scenic resort. Afternoon visit to Sajnekhali Tiger Project, Turtle Hatchery, and Mangrove Museum. Relax with evening tea, hot snacks and an authentic Baul musical soiree.
Full-Day Deep Jungle Safari: Dobanki Canopy Walk & Netidhopani
Embark at sunrise for an exhilarating full-day safari deep inside the Sundarban Tiger Reserve. Cruise through tranquil creeks including Pirkhali, Gazikhali, and Deul Bharani. Walk 20 feet above the ground along the Dobanki Canopy Walkway. Sail to Netidhopani to see ancient 4th-century temple ruins and the sweet water pond frequented by tigers. Enjoy freshly prepared hot lunch while floating on the serene river. Return to resort for bonfire and village interaction.
Village Heritage Walk, Sudhanyakhali Watch Tower & Return
Morning guided stroll through village paddy fields and honey-collector communities. Board the vessel for a final morning safari to Sudhanyakhali Watch Tower to spot spotted deer, wild boars, and river terrapins. Cruise through Panchamukhani junction back to Godkhali. Board vehicle and return to Kolkata by evening with cherished memories.
